The Estate Agent Website Index

We measured
the county.

In August we scanned the websites of 192 estate and letting agents across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, and scored every one out of 100 on the things a buyer or a landlord actually runs into. The best scored 93. The median scored 72.

What the listings leave out

Of the 132 firms whose listings page we could reach. Material information has been a criminal matter under the DMCC Act since April 2025.

95%

show no council tax band

88%

show no EPC

84%

show no tenure

67%

show no price qualifier

Read that as an observation, not a verdict. We looked for these words on a public listings page, which is not the same as a compliance judgement, and we are not offering one — NTSELAT withdrew its Material Information guidance in May 2025 and nothing official has replaced it. If a field matters to you, check your own source rather than trusting this table.

Where does your firm sit?

Your own scorecard: your score in each of the seven sections and the specific findings behind it. It is free, it takes us minutes, and there is no call. We publish nobody’s score but their own.

How it was scored

Every point comes from the site’s own response and page source. No manual grading.

We do not score whether a site looks good. That cannot be computed from page source, and a number claiming to grade taste would be worth nothing. The scan obeyed robots.txt on every host, identified itself, read at most two pages per site, submitted nothing and signed into nothing. Scores are a snapshot of 24 August 2026 — sites change, and we run it again.

Already know the site needs replacing?

You do not need a scorecard to tell you that. Most projects are priced at £2,500 and go live seven days from kickoff, with a fixed written quote before anything starts.
